American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a night shift cardiac care position requiring telemetry and cardiac experience and an active NC or compact RN license.

• Cardiac Care/Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 7pm to 7am
• Patient ratio of 5-6 patients per nurse
• Unit primarily serves medsurg/medtele overflow patients with some cardiac cases including stable chest pain rule outs, AFib with RVR, and CHF
• Occasional management of Cardizem drips (max rate of 15) and amiodarone drips
• Unit also receives stroke rule out patients
• Candidates will float within the hospital

• Active NC or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Telemetry and cardiac nursing experience required

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• No radius restrictions for this position
• RTO must be listed on application and approved prior to confirmation
• Candidates with a DUI or DWI within the past year will not be accepted; other background items reviewed case by case
• Previously employed staff must have a 1-year gap before returning
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
