Role:
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator in Labor and Delivery (L&D) ensures high-quality, patient-centered care by coordinating unit functions during shifts, supervising nursing staff, and maintaining compliance with policies and regulations.
Responsibilities:- Direct and monitor nursing care, assist with patient admissions and discharges, and support efficient throughput.
- Collaborate with management and staff to foster teamwork, improve outcomes, and enhance patient experience.
- Provide coaching, training, and feedback to staff, participate in hiring, and assist with staff scheduling.
- Support engagement initiatives and serve as a resource for staff development.
- Associates Degree in Nursing (Bachelors preferred); current RN licensure; one year of nursing experience.
- Certifications:
BLS Healthcare Provider; additional certifications like Neonate Resuscitation and Advanced Cardiac Life Support within specified time frames. - Preferred:
National certification in specialty area.
Strong clinical judgment, leadership skills, teamwork orientation, and commitment to quality care.
