Travel RN - Telemetry

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a night shift cardiac care position requiring active tele and cardiac nursing experience.

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Telemetry and cardiac nursing experience required

• Telemetry unit functioning primarily as a medsurg/medtele overflow unit with some cardiac patients
• Patient population includes stable chest pain rule-outs, A-Fib with RVR, CHF, and stroke rule-out patients
• Occasionally manages Cardizem (max rate of 15) and amiodarone drips
• 5-6 patient ratio
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts, 7p-7a
• Candidates will float within the hospital
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

• RTO must be listed on application and approved prior to confirmation
• Background policy does not permit DUI or DWI within the past year; other findings reviewed case by case
• Former staff must have been separated for at least one year to be eligible for consideration
