Travel RN - Med​/Surg - Long Term Care

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Long Term Care position at a retirement community with a NC or compact license and at least 1 year of experience required.

• Active NC or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Fingerprinting required for candidates relocating from out of state

• Work within a retirement community offering memory care, assisted living, and skilled nursing services
• LTC unit setting
• Weekend day shift schedule of 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Candidates will float within the hospital
• Provide skilled nursing care within a retirement community setting that includes memory care and assisted living
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as travelers
• Previous employees must have a 1-year gap since their last assignment before returning
• Background check policy excludes DUI or DWI within the past year; other findings reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis
