VEKA East, Inc., part of VEKA North America and the family‑owned global VEKA Group, is a growing manufacturing facility in Burke County, NC seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead quality assurance, ISO 9001 compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role is a key member of the Operations Leadership Team with strong career growth potential.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and continuously improve the Quality Management System (ISO 9001)
  • Lead Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities
  • Drive continuous improvement, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Analyze manufacturing processes using SPC, Minitab, or QI Macros
  • Manage non-conformances, audits, defect tracking, and quality reporting
  • Interface with customers and suppliers on quality and reliability issues
  • Implement and maintain supplier quality management programs
  • Lead, train, and develop the Quality Department team
  • Support warranty investigations and root cause analysis
  • Travel as required
Qualifications
  • Strong background in manufacturing quality systems
  • Experience leading cross‑functional teams in a production environment
  • Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis, root cause analysis, and SPC
  • Self‑driven, detail‑oriented, and improvement focused
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or Quality + 3 years experience
  • Associate degree + 8 years manufacturing quality experience
  • Project Management experience preferred
