Founded in 1977, Triangle Contractors is a growing full‑service mechanical contractor focused on delivering turnkey HVAC and mechanical services to a strong base of commercial and residential customers. Triangle is located in Morganton, North Carolina and services a wider range of customers throughout Central and Western North Carolina.
Triangle Contractors is looking for a skilled and dedicated Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various commercial heating, cooling and ventilation systems.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in commercial heating, cooling and ventilation systems
- Prioritize safety
- Provide high‑quality service and maintain excellent customer relationships
- Manage truck stock and maintain inventory according to company guidelines
- Keep truck and work areas clean, organized and well‑maintained inline with the maintenance schedule
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Minimum of 5+ years experience in commercial HVAC service and repair
- CFCC certification required
- Valid NC driver’s license
- NATE certification is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with both customers and colleagues
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving and critical thinking skills
- Experience with commercial HVAC systems
$35+ depending on experience
