General Description
This is a working supervisor position. Oversee and supervise the Switchboard department staff for a 24/7 facility and create their monthly schedules. Complete their weekly time in UKG PRO. Order all supplies for switchboard and Segra Phone System. Process phone system issues/complaints and/or process requests in SEGRA COMMPILOT computer system. Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word and Google Mail/Documents. Complete and track data for phone directory for the hospital ensuring the data is correct.
Track support calls by unit and log them. Ensure phone lines, fax lines and internet are working, if issues arise contact the proper vendor with open communication to correct the problem. Performs related duties as required. Mandatory overtime may be required. Applicants selected for employment must successfully complete a chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug screening test. All employees shall be subject to drug and alcohol testing for probable cause as set forth in bureau and agency policies.

Minimum Qualifications- Education:
None. - Experience:
Three (3) years of full‑time or equivalent part‑time experience performing clerical work. - Internal Applicants Only:
Two (2) years of full‑time or equivalent part‑time experience, which may be combined, from any of the following classifications may substitute for the required experience:
Accounting Specialist, Administrative Secretary, Data Entry Operator, Human Resources Administrative Assistant, Office Associate, and Secretary. - Substitution Information:
Additional education may substitute for the required experience as determined by the Office of Shared Administration Equivalency Chart.

The hospital offers a wide range of services to patients either committed to the hospital through civil commitment or, in the case of forensic patients, ordered through the judicial system.
Through ongoing collaboration with West Virginia University’s Department of Behavioral Medicine & Psychiatry, a variety of medical and clinical professionals partner with the hospital’s own staff to work diligently with patients to achieve a smooth transition back to the community after discharge.
