Overview
The Lane Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at West Virginia University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow in the general area of theoretical computer science with an emphasis on computational complexity and game theory. A PhD in computer science and expertise in the areas of computational and game theory are required. The position is funded by NSF (Algorithmic Foundations) and is concerned with the designing efficient algorithms and establishing the computational complexity of selected quantified polyhedral programs.
Responsibilities- Conduct research on quantified polyhedral programming and quantified circuits.
- Attend research conferences.
- Read scientific literature to keep abreast of technological advances and current research findings.
- Teach one course in theoretical computer science.
- PhD in computer science and expertise in computational and game theory.
