Your main responsibility will be to film videos using the Thankview platform to engage, steward, cultivate, and solicit donors. As a Campus Ambassador, you are on the front line for WVU, representing the student body and administration to the greater part of the WVU family.
The starting rate for each student representative is $15 /hour and the expected workload is approximately 10-15 hours a week. This is a task-based job – you will be given video assignments with deadlines to complete them by. There will be some weeks you will have more work to complete than others, not exceeding the estimated 10-hour expectation. You will be filming videos based on strategy and going off the scripting provided by leadership within the Annual Giving Team.
Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Communicate and establish a relationship with alumni, friends, and family of WVU, via video messaging inspiring them to consider making a gift to the University Provide content related to constituents that showcase the many initiatives and philanthropic efforts happening campus-wide Manage communications to a portfolio of prospects with personalized video messaging.
Leverage technology to engage with donors
Be an on-campus ambassador for the WVU Foundation; assist with spreading awareness of philanthropic efforts and philanthropy education to your peers
Comfortable working in a remote environment while adhering to employment expectations and performance standards
Comfortable with communicating through multiple channels (primarily video, but can include phone, text, email, etc.)Other duties as assigned

Currently enrolled full-time student at WVUAbility to communicate positively and accurately about WVUPositive outlook and attitude
