Addiction Physician Opportunity – Morgantown, West Virginia

We are looking for a part-time physician dedicated to helping patients on their road to recovery.

• Admitting patients for methadone and buprenorphine treatment.
• Cover absences for the Medical Director during vacations, addiction meetings, and other personal absences as needed.
• Obtain patient history and perform physical exams.
• Document in the EMR and enter orders for methadone dosing or write buprenorphine prescriptions.
• Monitor patient dosages in collaboration with the Treatment Center Director, Counselors and Dosing Nurses.
• Consult on high-risk patients and conduct annual medication reviews.
• Other related duties as determined by supervisor.

• Board Certified or Eligible in Addiction Medicine is preferred but not required.
• Addiction Medicine specialty experience required.
• Must be licensed in the state of West Virginia or able to obtain a license within 90 days.
• Must have DEA in West Virginia and eligibility for Medicare participation.
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
