CERTIFICATION/QUALIFICATIONS- Valid administrative certificate.
- Current Braxton County Schools Employee
- Criminal background check conducted pursuant to WV Code §18-5-15c and/or §18A-3-10, as appropriate.
- Meet the qualifications outlined in WV Code §18A-3-2a.

The Social Studies Fair Coordinator is responsible for supporting and coordinating STREAM Fair activities for Braxton County Schools. This role assists individual schools with the planning and implementation of their building-level fairs and takes the lead in organizing and executing a successful county/district-wide STREAM Fair.
The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or non-prescribed drugs while in the workplace. Alcohol and controlled substances which affect employee productivity, safety or judgment in the workplace will not be tolerated.
Staff members serve as role models for students in how to conduct themselves as citizens and as responsible, intelligent human beings.
Staff members are expected to refrain from bullying, harassment, intimidation, and discrimination.
Performance Responsibilities- Provide guidance, resources, and assistance to all schools in the county in organizing and conducting their individual STREAM Fairs.
- Communicate timelines, guidelines, and best practices to school administrators, teachers, and staff.
- Plan, organize, and manage all aspects of the annual county STREAM Fair.
- Secure an appropriate venue for the events.
- Develop and manage the event schedule, including setup, student presentations, judging periods, and awards ceremony.
- Recruit, train, and coordinate qualified judges from the community, higher education, and professional organizations.
- Establish and communicate clear rules, categories, and judging rubrics consistent with state guidelines.
- Communicate district winners to the Superintendent for formal recognition at a regularly scheduled District Board of Education meeting.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
