Position Overview
The Department of Political Science at West Virginia University invites applications for Part‑time Adjunct Teaching Positions. Areas of need may include, but are not limited to, American politics, comparative politics, International Relations, and political theory.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching in‑person or online courses in the Department of Political Science’s undergraduate and graduate programs. Salary is established on a per‑course basis. Applications will be accepted throughout the year and will be considered as openings arise.
QualificationsThese positions require a master’s or doctoral degree in political science or a closely related discipline, along with evidence of effective teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level. Generally, individuals with a doctoral degree are eligible to teach graduate or undergraduate courses; individuals with a master’s degree are eligible to teach undergraduate courses.
