** The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
** The individual will provide overall Chemical Engineering guidance and support for the Operations, Maintenance, and Technology Teams. This will entail involvement in day-to-day troubleshooting in the plant, as well as support for improvement programs in the areas of process improvements, uptime, reliability, cost, safety, new capital installations, etc. The Belle Plant includes areas that are designated high hazard processes. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Provide Chemical Engineering expertise and mentoring to Technical Engineers, Operations and Maintenance.
* Recommend and implement solutions to drive safety and continuous improvement.
* Assist with recommendations for day-to-day troubleshooting.
* Lead and participates in Incident Investigations.
* Lead and participate in Process Safety Management (PSM) related activities such as Process Hazards Analysis (PHA), Management of Change (MOC), Pre-Start Up Safety Reviews (PSSR), Mechanical Integrity (MI), and Process Technology (PT).
* Leads the site Risk Management Plan (RMP).
* Drives area Capital Plan.
* Participates in Highly Toxic Material Committee.
* Provides Environmental Support.
