The Wadsworth Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at West Virginia University (WVU) invites applications for part-time instructor positions to support its program mission.

In particular, the candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas are highly desirable:

* Environmental Engineering and Water Resources (e.g., air pollution and control, solid and hazardous waste management, wastewater engineering, etc.)

* Construction Management

* Geotechnical Engineering

* Transportation Engineering

* Eligible candidates must hold an earned doctorate in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering or a closely related discipline at the time of appointment.

* Candidates with an MS degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited university with 3 years of experience will also be considered.

* Candidates with active research experience in their area of expertise, academic publications, and an interest in advising/mentoring doctoral students are highly desirable.

West Virginia University is the comprehensive Land Grant University of the State of West Virginia and a Carnegie Classification of Highest Research Activity (i.e., R1 University).
