ResponsibilitiesTRC has multiple openings for Transportation Construction Inspectors of all levels throughout West Virginia. This is a full-time, direct hire role with full benefits and the opportunity to advance with an established, growing company.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily site inspections for highway and/or bridge construction projects to verify compliance with approved plans, specifications, and codes.
- Measure and record pay quantities.
- Prepare daily reports.
- Review the Contractor's schedule.
Review and provide input on potential change order issues.
- Maintain project records.
- High School Diploma, or equivalent.
- Six (6) months of construction experience with bridges, roadways, and highways.
- Valid driver's license.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to obtain WVTRET Certification within six (6) months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
- WVTRET Certification (Level I - V).
- WVDOH Materials Certifications in Soil
- Aggregate Compaction, Portland Cement Concrete and Asphalt Field
- Compaction. - Associate's degree in civil engineering technology, or related.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering technology, or related.

Compensation:
Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other Compensation:
Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
