Description:

This position will work in the Gross Room.
Hours will primarily be 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Candidate should be able to gross simple and complex cases, including frozen sections.
Candidate must work in a fast-paced academic environment.

Experience with a LIS system would be helpful.
Training will be provided by current Pathology Assistants.
There are no weekend or holiday requirements for this position.
No call or standby call requirement is necessary.
The dress code includes hospital scrubs that will be provided.
The work will involve using Epic, Cryostat, bone saw, scalpels, and knives.
This position does not require performing phlebotomy.
A generalist background is not required for this role.
