Job Details:

• Work weekend night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

• Weekend schedule includes Friday, Saturday, Sunday OR Saturday, Sunday, Monday

• Patient ratios of 1:5-6 for floor patients on a 20-bed neuroscience unit

• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIHSS (must be in hand at time of submission)

• ACLS preferred but not required

• Must have strong neuroscience experience and proficiency with G-tubes

• Recent EPIC charting system experience required

• Care for patients with neurological conditions including stroke, seizures, DBS patients, and post-operative spine patients

• Work with common drips including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, dopamine, and insulin

• Telemetry monitoring available with dedicated monitor techs

• May float to other units including 7E, 7W, 7NE, or 10E as needed

• Dress code requires any combination of white and royal blue scrubs

• One shift unit-specific orientation provided

• Holiday rotation participation required

• Cancellation policy allows up to 2 shifts per 13-week contract

• BSN not required

The facility offers 24/7 charge nurse coverage, respiratory therapy support, and advanced neurological care including deep brain stimulator procedures. The healthcare system utilizes EPIC charting and maintains modern equipment to support complex neurological patient care with specialized monitoring capabilities.

Adex Job . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
