Receiving Material Handler (M-F)Full Time Morgantown, WV, US
Schedule will be Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm.
Role Impact:
As part of an aseptic, beverage manufacturing facility, a Material Handler will be critical in ensuring safe and efficient movement of material throughout the facility.
In this role, the Receiving Material Handler will be responsible for operating various equipment to receive and unload inbound packaging materials into the facility. This role is critical in maintaining smooth warehouse operations, meeting production schedules, and ensuring goods are delivered on time and in good condition.
Role Responsibilities
- Specializes in Packaging Warehouse to unload packaging component deliveries.
- Must have strong organizational skills and ability to work independently without direction.

-away of packaging components in accordance with aseptic production requirements. - Ensures deliveries ar rive in good condition and checks Bill of Lading for shipment accuracy, damages, and notates any discrepancies or damage.
- Loads and unloads materials from delivery vehicles, loading bays, and storage locations in a safe and efficient manner.
- Transports packaging materials (i.e. caps, cartons, labels, film, closures, etc.) to designated production lines and warehouse storage areas when necessary.
- Safely secures, stacks, and stores materials using appropriate equipment to prevent damage or contamination.
- Follows inventory management procedures using scanning equipment to ensure efficiency in locating, categorizing, and storing inventory.
- Maintains accurate inventory by scanning, recording, and reconciling packaging material movements
- Optimizes storage and load configurations to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency.
- Supports line clearance and changeover processes by removing, documenting, and returning unused packaging materials in compliance with SOPs.
- Assists in other areas of warehouse when needed.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of designated storage areas, ensuring compliance.
- Adheres to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety management standards, including PPE requirements.
- Completes required training and certifications (forklift license, GMP, HACCP, etc.) to ensure safe and compliant operations.
- Follow Food Safety Requirement/Standards as needed.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic mathematical and calculation skills.
Experience & Skills
- Proficiency in operating technical machinery.
- Forklift experience required.
- Experience operating equipment in an aseptic food and beverage manufacturing facility highly preferred.
- Demonstrate understanding of Clean-in Place (CIP) production preferred.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision .
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
- Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, and bend for entire shift.
- Must be able to work with equipment that contains electric magnetic components .
