As a Product Sorter / Recycling Worker
, you will help process incoming products and shipments by sorting materials, unpacking items, breaking down packaging, and preparing products for the recycling process.
- Sort incoming products and materials for the recycling process
. - Identify and separate items according to established procedures.
- Unpack incoming shipments and prepare products for processing.
- Break down shipping boxes, cartons, and containers.
- Move and organize materials throughout the work area.
- Work with crew members to maintain an efficient production flow.
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized.
- Assist with general warehouse and material-handling duties.
- Follow workplace safety and recycling procedures.
- Perform additional production and general labor duties as needed.
- Dependable and able to maintain consistent attendance.
- Comfortable performing repetitive, hands-on work.
- Ability to work efficiently in a production or warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn through on-the-job training.
- Previous warehouse, recycling, production, material handling, sorting, or general labor experience is a plus.
- Starting pay of $15.00/hour
