Registered Nurse - Cardiac/Telemetry Stepdown Unit Location

This is a 13-week contract position.

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Cardiac/Telemetry Stepdown Unit. This unit is a higher acuity area, handling patients with complex cardiac conditions and post-operative care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemetry nursing and be able to manage multiple high-risk patients effectively.

• Provide care for a diverse patient population, including those with cardiac issues and respiratory problems.
• Manage patient care under a nursing ratio of 1:4 in a PCU setting.
• Titrate medications and administer various drips, including Cardizem, Amiodarone, and Heparin.
• Collaborate with the charge nurse and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize Philips monitors for telemetry and ensure accurate interpretation of cardiac strips.

• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in a higher acuity telemetry or stepdown unit is essential.
• Must be able to manage and titrate cardiac medications.
