Position Overview:
As a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse, you'll provide comprehensive care to patients with a broad range of medical needs, from managing chronic conditions to aiding in recovery from surgery. Unlike specialized telemetry roles, Med/Surg nurses care for patients with diverse diagnoses, requiring a strong foundation in general medicine, surgical care, and an ability to address overall patient health changes. You'll be responsible for monitoring patient progress, collaborating with healthcare teams, and ensuring safe, effective treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patient conditions, responding to changes in symptoms or overall health

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans

• Support pre- and post-operative patients, providing education on recovery, wound care, diet, and medication

• Prioritize patient comfort, safety, and well-being in all aspects of care
