6N Med Surg RN - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift schedule: 19:00 - 07:00, with 4x12 or 3x12-hour shifts, including weekends.

The 6N Med Surg RN will be responsible for providing high‑quality nursing care to patients in a 34‑bed medical‑surgical unit. This role involves working closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient‑centered care and ensure optimal patient outcomes in a dynamic healthcare environment.

• Provide comprehensive nursing assessments and care for assigned patients.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Conduct telemetry monitoring and interpret ECG readings.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for effective patient care planning.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and care plans.

• 2+ years of nursing experience in a med‑surg setting.
• Current RN license, or a compact RN license accepted.
• Certifications required: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
