Jul 6, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position in West Virginia, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and night shift availability on a 13-week contract with extension potential. Details 34-bed Med/Surg unit with telemetry monitoring capabilities Patient ratios of 1:5–7 Night shift: 4x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM Weekday and weekend shifts required, with 3 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period Charting performed in Cerner EMR 13-week contract with possibility of extension Requirements Active WV or Compact RN license required Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience required Cerner EMR experience preferred Two manager or charge nurse references from within the past 2 years required for consideration Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Scrubs are not provided by the facility Attendance reliability is critical — candidates should be aware that the facility has a strict policy regarding call-offs during the contract period American Traveler Job  P-723170.
