Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position at a hospital in West Virginia, requiring at least 2 years of experience and telemetry familiarity on a night shift schedule.

Job Details

• 34-bed Med/Surg unit with telemetry capabilities,

• Night shift schedule: 19:00-07:30, available as 4x12 or 3x12,

• Weekday and weekend shifts required (3 weekends per 4-week schedule/period),

• Patient ratios of 1:5-7,

• Charting performed in Cerner EMR,

• 13-week contract with possibility of extension,

Job Requirements

• Active WV or compact RN license required,

• Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required,

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,

• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for this position,

• Two manager or charge nurse references from within the past 2 years required for consideration,

• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Scrubs are not provided by the facility,

• Attendance is taken seriously - candidates should be aware that excessive call-offs are not tolerated, with a maximum of 2-3 per contract
