About the PositionTravel Nurse Source is working with AMN Healthcare to find a qualified Home Health RN in MORGANTOWN, West Virginia, 26508.
Job Description & ResponsibilitiesThis Home Health Registered Nurse position is based in Morgantown, West Virginia. In this role, you will provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes throughout Morgantown and the surrounding region. You will conduct comprehensive admission and follow‑up assessments, develop and update individualized plans of care, administer medications and treatments, manage wounds and post‑operative care, and provide education to patients and caregivers on disease management and safety in the home.
You will coordinate services with therapists, social workers, and home health aides to ensure holistic, coordinated care, monitor patient progress, respond to changes in condition, and communicate regularly with physicians and the broader care team.
A typical day involves traveling to multiple patient homes within an assigned territory in and around Morgantown, completing skilled nursing visits, documenting in the electronic medical record, and collaborating with team members via phone or secure messaging. The caseload is designed to support thorough, unhurried visits where you can focus on assessment, teaching, and individualized patient needs.
