TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing assignment in Morgantown, West Virginia.

We're looking for Medical Surgical RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Morgantown, WV. The right RN should have 1-2 years recent acute care experience.

• Conduct patient assessments and prioritize data collection based on patients' immediate conditions or needs.
• Perform ongoing assessments and appropriate treatments as ordered by a physician.
• Document patient findings and provide education and support to patients' families.
• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre- and post‑op patients.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare equipment and aid physician during examination and treatment of patient.
• Educate patients on surgical procedures.
• Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plan as prescribed.

Physical requirements:

Stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean and stoop without difficulty. Ability to lift 20 pounds, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Work in a fast‑paced environment treating patients that may be confused, agitated, and/or uncooperative.

• BLS, NIH, 2 Years
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
