Registered Nurse

Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Stepdown/Immediate Care Unit. This position requires working three 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM on weekdays with some weekend coverage. The typical patient ratio is 1:4, with flexibility to a 1:5 ratio in emergencies. The nurse will care for patients primarily with cardiac conditions, including those recovering from cardiac surgery or interventional cardiology procedures.

Experience in IV starts and telemetry is required. Candidates should be capable of managing various patient needs, including BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, central line care, and interpretation of dysrhythmias. The unit supports interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. All applicants must possess the ability to follow protocols related to IV medications and perform necessary procedures such as telemetry monitoring and phlebotomy.

This role does not require prior travel experience but does require a strong clinical background in stepdown nursing. Candidates must have permanent addresses outside of the facility's service area for submission. Due to specific staffing requirements, candidates currently employed at affiliated facilities are not eligible. Documentation is required to complete the application process.
