Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Stepdown in Morgantown, WV

Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiac Stepdown
Location: Morgantown, WV Agency: Concentric Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details)
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP

• Provide direct patient care on a 32-bed unit consisting of 22 stepdown beds and 10 floor beds, with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:3 (stepdown) and 1:5–1:6 (floor)
• Titrate drips including heparin, insulin, nitroglycerin, Cardizem, nicardipine, Lasix, amiodarone, and dobutamine
• Care for patients with diagnoses including heart failure, cardiac surgery, cardiology, and med-surg/hospitalist conditions
• Monitor and respond to telemetry in coordination with dedicated tele techs using Philips monitoring systems
• Operate and manage respiratory therapy equipment including nasal cannula, CPAP, BiPAP, HFNC, and trach-to-vent setups with dedicated RT support
• Participate in self-scheduling via Kronos, including block scheduling, weekend rotations, and holiday coverage requirements

• Active and unrestricted RN license (any license hits must be disclosed at time of submission)
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Ability to titrate vasoactive and cardiac drips independently
• Willingness to float to floor assignments on a rotational basis as needed

• Prior cardiac or cardiac stepdown nursing experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Philips telemetry monitoring systems
• Experience working in a high-acuity stepdown or progressive care environment

• Work in a structured, well-supported unit with dedicated charge nurses, house supervisors available at all times, and clinical associate support
• Flexible self-scheduling with block scheduling options available
