Registered Nurse (RN) PRN - Step Down -- STEPDOWN UNIT -- Mon Medical Center Main Campus

Job Summary

As a RN you will coordinate total patient centered care ensuring optimal service to the communities we serve.

• Assessment:
  The registered nurse collects comprehensive data pertinent to the healthcare consumer’s health and/or situation by providing an extraordinary patient experience, compassionate care and clinical excellence one patient at a time.
• Diagnosis:
  The registered nurse analyzes the assessment data to determine the diagnoses or the issues by providing an extraordinary patient experience, compassionate care and clinical excellence one patient at a time.
• Outcomes Identification:
  The registered nurse identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer or the situation by providing an extraordinary patient experience, compassionate care and clinical excellence one patient at a time.
• Planning:
  The registered nurse develops a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes by providing an extraordinary patient experience, compassionate care and clinical excellence one patient at a time.
• Implementation:
  The registered nurse implements the identified plan by providing an extraordinary patient experience, compassionate care and clinical excellence one patient at a time.
• Evaluation:
  The registered nurse evaluates progress toward attainment of outcomes by providing an extraordinary patient experience, compassionate care and clinical excellence one patient at a time.

• Effective interpersonal communication skills in order to effectively collaborate with physicians, and instruct patients and their families.
• Heavy Work:
  Exerting up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently and/or in excess of 20 lbs. of force constantly.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required) Issued by the American Heart Association, are required during the orientation period.
• Basic Life Support (Required) Issued by the American Heart Association, are required during the orientation period.
