This role requires a commitment to 12-hour day shifts from 7 AM to 7:30 PM, specifically over the weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and holidays as scheduled.

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a stepdown unit, handling a typical Med Surg population including patients with conditions such as chest pain, COPD, pneumonia, and UTIs.

• Provide nursing care to patients in a stepdown and floor setting.
• Monitor vital signs and manage medications and treatments as directed.
• Read telemetry strips and communicate with telemetry monitor techs.
• Perform patient assessments and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.

• Current BLS certification.
• Active RN license required.
• Experience in a similar acute care setting preferred.
• Ability to titrate IV drips in the stepdown unit.
