This position involves 12-hour night shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.

This role is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in a 29-bed Stepdown/Med Surg unit that is currently under construction, expected to open in the first quarter of 2026. The unit will cater to a diverse patient population primarily with medical diagnoses. The RN will be required to effectively manage either step-down or med-surg patient assignments.

• Provide care for diverse patients with primarily medical diagnoses.
• Manage a patient ratio of 3:1 for step-down and 6:1 for floor assignments.
• Titrate drips as per physician orders, including Heparin, Insulin, and various PCA medications.
• Monitor patients using central telemetry surveillance, not requiring RNs to read their own strips.
• Collaborate with clinical associates (CAs) to ensure optimal patient care, maintaining a 1:10 CA to patient ratio.
• Participate in unit orientation and maintain an adaptable approach to the evolving care setting.

• Active RN license.
• BLS certification (AHA).
• EPIC experience is a must.
• Ability to manage patients effectively in both stepdown and med-surg capacities.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
