- Post Anesthesia Care Senior for a travel nursing job in Morgantown, West Virginia.

- 8, 10, or 12-Hour Shifts
- 40 Guaranteed Hours per Week
- Active RN License
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- PALS Certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent PACU experience
- Level I Trauma PACU experience preferred
- Recent EPIC experience preferred
- Comfortable recovering both adult and pediatric patients
- Experience with ventilated patients and advanced airway management preferred

- Provide Phase I and Phase II post-anesthesia recovery care
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments following surgery
- Monitor airway, respiratory, and cardiovascular status
- Manage pain control and post-operative recovery
- Recover ICU patients when required
- Administer medications and monitor for anesthesia-related complications
- Float within Pre-Op, PACU, and Phase II recovery areas as needed
- Prestigious academic teaching hospital

- 20 Pre-Op Bays
- 24 PACU / Phase II Recovery Bays
- Exposure to a wide variety of surgical specialties
- Collaborative perioperative team environment
- Primarily Monday–Friday day shifts
- Rotating weekends and occasional night shifts as needed
- Approximately 20–24 hours of call per month
- 1-hour call response time
- Driver's license address must be more than 50 miles from the facility
- COVID vaccination required (medical and religious exemptions considered)
