Registered Nurse Cardiac Care

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with specialized expertise in Cardiac Care. The position requires a minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience. Candidates must have experience with activated clotting time, and managing direct fresh open-heart admissions from the operating room. Skills in pressure monitoring, Swan-Ganz management, Impella monitoring, and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) are essential. The staff-to-patient ratio on the unit is typically 1:2.

Flexibility to work during weekdays and weekends is important. This role involves caring for cardiothoracic surgery patients and complicated cardiac cases. Candidates will be responsible for various critical nursing tasks including arterial line management, blood product administration, and ventilator management. The working environment is dynamic, focusing on comprehensive cardiac care for adult and geriatric patients. Experience with other cardiac surgery-related procedures is a plus.

The ideal candidate will be organized, have strong communication skills, and remain calm under pressure. Candidates must provide professional references from previous supervisors. All required certifications must be valid and current through recognized organizations.
