Description:
Provides coordinates and directs the provision of home nursing care according to physicians' orders based on agency policies and procedures. Responsible for the competent application of the nursing process. Reports directly to the Clinical Manager. Supervises and evaluates Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses. Requires reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance. Responsible for completing home visits and attending periodic office meetings.
May be assigned between 5 to 10 patients per day. Each visit and activity hold different point values. Expected to meet weekly productivity expectations. Compensation is based on patient home visits. Local candidates are accepted. Traveler candidates must be open to traveling up to 75 miles for patient visits. All documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the appointment.
Understanding that there are no guaranteed hours with this contract is essential. Must accept all patients on the schedule regardless of distance between appointments. Delayed or incomplete documentation impacting billing and follow-up patient care may result in a cancellation.
