Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

$2448.00/week –

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Med Surg RN to provide exceptional patient care on a night shift schedule. This contract role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment for a duration of 26 weeks, with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments accurately following physicians’ orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess clinical conditions regularly.
• Document patient care activities in the Cerner EMR system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding healthcare procedures and post-discharge instructions.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and facility policies.

Qualifications:

• Valid WV or Compact RN license; pending license accepted.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in a Med Surg setting.
• BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association.
• Strong ability to work night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
• Demonstrate excellent communication, documentation, and clinical skills.
• Must have a permanent address over 100 miles from the facility.
