Registered Nurse – Operating Room

$2584.00/week –

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide specialized perioperative care in a high-volume operating room. The RN will circulate independently, assist with various surgical procedures, and participate in staffing calls and weekend shifts to ensure smooth OR operations.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage patient care during surgical procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Circulate independently, take call as required, and respond promptly to emergency situations.
• Assist with orienting new staff on unit-specific protocols and the EPIC EMR system.
• Support a variety of cases across multiple service lines, including ortho, neuro, robotic surgery, bariatrics, ENT, ophthalmology, and trauma.
• Maintain sterile technique, operate OR equipment, and ensure proper setup and breakdown of surgical areas.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to optimize workflow and patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Valid and unexpired RN license.
• Strong ambulatory and intraoperative experience, capable of circulating independently.
• Ability to scrub in multiple surgical specialties.
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR and OR equipment such as Bovie, Ligasure, and Xi Robotics.
• Willingness to work 12-hour or 8-hour shifts, including weekends and standby call hours.
• Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and multitasking skills.
