Registered Nurse - Stepdown/Med Surg Unit - 12H Night Shift
Join our dynamic team in a new stepdown/medsurg unit serving a diverse patient population. The unit will host 29 beds dedicated to stepdown care, and is designed to cater to the varying needs of both floor and stepdown patients.
This is a 13-week contract position.
12-hour night shifts: 7 PM - 7:30 AM, either Friday, Saturday, and Sunday or Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
Provide nursing care for both med-surg (6:1) and stepdown (3:1) patient ratios.
Administer medications, including titrating drips as per written orders.
Utilize EPIC electronic medical record system for charting patient information.
Collaborate with a team of charge nurses and clinical associates for optimal patient care.
Monitor patients utilizing Phillips telemetry equipment, with a remote telemetry surveillance center.
Current RN license required.
BLS certification (AHA) required.
Must have experience with EPIC systems.
Capable of handling diverse medical diagnoses in acute care settings.
