Description:
Unit includes multiple Operating Room suites.
A high volume of cases is managed on a daily basis.
The facility is a Level I Trauma Center with 24/7 Poly Trauma response.
Common cases include Orthopedic surgeries, Neurosurgeries, and Bariatric procedures.
Experience with robotic surgery is beneficial but not mandatory.
Charge Nurse is available 24/7; travelers will not be placed in this role.
Travelers should expect to take call, approximately 20-30 hours of standby in a 4-week period.
Weekend shifts will be scheduled for at least 1-2 travelers.
Travelers will float between designated units based on experience.
Basic OR equipment such as Bovie machines and robotics is utilized.
Orientation is provided to the Operating Room environment.
