Registered Nurse NICU

$2325.60/week -

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled NICU Registered Nurse to provide expert neonatal care in a Level 3 or higher NICU. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, experience with high-acuity patients, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor neonates, including those requiring ventilator and CPAP support.
• Administer medications and IV therapies under physician orders, including titratable drips.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient status and interventions in Electronic Medical Records (EPIC preferred).
• Collaborate with charge nurses, house supervisors, neonatologists, and other team members to ensure optimal care.
• Manage unit equipment such as vents, Cpap, BiPap, and other neonatal supportive devices.
• Float to related units (Pediatric ICU, Inpatient Pediatrics, Labor & Delivery) as needed during shifts.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with 2+ years of experience in a Level 3 NICU or higher.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications; ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Demonstrated competency in neonatal assessment, IV placement, medication administration, and ventilator management.
• Ability to work 7pm-7am shifts, including weekends and holidays, with flexibility for call or standby if required.
• Experienced in using EPIC or similar EMR systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
