Registered Nurse (RN) – NICU

Morgantown, WV

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Rotating | Onsite

• Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level IV NICU setting, including micro preemies, surgical neonates, BPD, NAS, cardiac, and genetic anomaly cases
• Perform neonatal assessments, administer medications, and manage IV access and feedings
• Manage and monitor ventilator and CPAP care under physician orders
• Titrate drips including Dopamine, Dobutamine, Prostins, Insulin, and Sedation under MD order
• Monitor patients on unit-based monitored beds and collaborate with neonatologists available in-house 24/7
• May float to PICU, Inpatient Pediatrics, or Labor and Delivery as needed

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Level III NICU or higher
• Current BLS certification (required)
• Current NRP certification (required)
• Proficiency in neonatal assessment, IV management, medication administration, and feeding
• Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

• ACLS and PALS certifications
• Experience with ventilator and CPAP care in a neonatal setting
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records
• Availability for weekend shifts (1–2 weekends desired) and holiday coverage if needed

• Work alongside a dedicated neonatal team in a high-acuity Level IV NICU with neonatologist coverage 24/7 and support from NICU Clinical Preceptors during orientation
• Candidates with limited vent/CPAP experience may be considered for placement in the stepdown unit, offering flexibility based on your background
