  • Maintain compliance with SI Group Cardinal Rules and support implementation of corporate EHS policies, programs, and initiatives
  • Promote and ensure the health, safety, and security of all employees and contractors
  • Support and promote safety programs, including Hot Work, Confined Space Entry, and Energized Electrical Safety
  • Develop, maintain, and improve EHS policies and procedures in compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements
  • Build strong working relationships with employees, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory agencies to enhance EHS performance and company reputation
  • Provide technical guidance on safety, industrial hygiene, health, and Emergency Response Team (ERT) operations
  • Foster a positive safety culture by supporting site safety teams and engaging employees in safe work practices
  • Facilitate and/or Participate in emergency response activities
  • Conduct inspections of critical safety equipment and maintain inspection records
  • Manage procurement and inventory of EHS equipment (e.g., fall protection, gas monitors)
  • Manage site LMS


Key Responsibilities

EHS General Support

  • Support and promote safety programs, including Hot Work, Confined Space Entry, and Energized Electrical Safety
  • Develop, maintain, and improve EHS policies and procedures in compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements
  • Build strong working relationships with employees, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory agencies to enhance EHS performance and company reputation
  • Provide technical guidance on safety, industrial hygiene, health, and Emergency Response Team (ERT) operations
  • Foster a positive safety culture by supporting site safety teams and engaging employees in safe work practices
  • Facilitate and/or Participate in emergency response activities
  • Conduct inspections of critical safety equipment and maintain inspection records

  • Manage site LMS
Operations, Maintenance & Contractor Support

  • Prepare and issue permits for Confined Space Entry; support training and auditing for LOTO, Hot Work, Energized Electrical Work, and Crane Safety permits
  • Review LOTO processes, procedures, and applicable drawings in support of safe operations
  • Perform and support EHS inspections and audits
  • Inspect and maintain safety equipment, including respirators and ERT gear
  • Support Responsible Care® (RC-14001) management system requirements and guiding principles
  • Lead industrial hygiene monitoring activities and maintain related equipment
  • Identify and source appropriate PPE based on task-specific hazards
  • Maintain accurate records, update SOPs, and support documentation and data entry requirements
Training & Development

  • Develop and implement EHS training programs to meet regulatory and site-specific requirements
  • Ensure timely completion of employee and contractor training
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and implement continuous improvements
  • Identify and track ongoing training needs across the site
  • Manage LMS; may include design, deliver, and documenting training programs
  • Maintain contractor training programs to ensure compliance
  • Support internal and external audits related to EHS and training programs
Creating Extraordinary Starts With

  • Bachelor’s degree in EHS, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and EHS best practices
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Be able to wear a respirator
  • RC-14001 or similar management systems
  • Certification (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM)
  • Industrial hygiene and emergency response programs
