Lease Buyer

Elite is seeking a Leasing Agent located within a 100-mile radius of Marion County or Monongalia County, West Virginia. This is a field-intensive role requiring direct landowner engagement, negotiation skills, strong organizational discipline, and the ability to operate independently while following a defined acquisition strategy.

The ideal candidate understands that land acquisition is both technical and relational. You must be comfortable reviewing ownership data, explaining agreements clearly, and earning trust at kitchen tables across rural Appalachia.

• Conduct in-person landowner outreach and relationship building
• Present and explain Letters of Intent, Option Agreements, and Lease Agreements
• Negotiate terms within approved parameters
• Track landowner communications and maintain accurate reporting
• Coordinate with title, GIS, and project management teams
• Identify risks, objections, and opportunities in real time
• Represent Elite with professionalism and integrity in every interaction

• Reside within 100 miles of Marion or Monongalia County, WV
• Willingness to travel daily within assigned territory
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
• High level of self-discipline and accountability
• Ability to manage multiple landowner conversations simultaneously
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Prior land acquisition, right-of-way, oil and gas, or renewable energy leasing experience
• Familiarity with courthouse research and ownership reports
• Understanding of rural landowner dynamics
• Background in real estate, sales, or community-facing roles
