Position: Supervisory Research Health Scientist (Field Studies Branch Chief)

Supervisory Research Health Scientist Duties

As a Supervisory Research Health Scientist, you will:

  • Participate with the Division Director and fully shares in the responsibility for planning, developing, evaluating, and managing the programs of the Branch.
  • Maintain close liaison with other Branches/Divisions of the Institute to assure research program plans and projects conform to the objectives, mission, and program initiatives of the Institute.
  • Provide consultation on the design and interpretation of applied and operational research studies.
  • Formulate, develop, and direct broad programs of active research in industrial hygiene and epidemiological studies, clinical assessment, exposure assessment, and laboratory research, which lead to advances in the field of the control of occupational respiratory disease.
