This is a full‑time, on‑site Electrician role based in the Chester Area. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in domestic, commercial, and industrial environments, including power distribution, lighting, data cabling, and security and door access systems. Day‑to‑day tasks include reading and interpreting technical drawings and wiring diagrams, performing fault‑finding and diagnostics, carrying out testing and inspection of installations, and ensuring all work meets safety standards and regulatory requirements.

The Electrician will collaborate with project teams, communicate with clients on job progress and requirements, complete accurate documentation and reports, and respond to scheduled and urgent service calls. The role may involve working outside standard business hours to align with client needs and minimize disruption to operations.

• Strong technical skills in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair across domestic, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency in testing, inspection, fault‑finding, and diagnostics of electrical systems.
• Experience working with data cabling, security systems, and door access control systems.
• Solid understanding of electrical safety practices, relevant codes, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for planning work, documenting findings, and completing reports.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings or weekends, to accommodate client schedules and minimize downtime.
• Recognized electrical qualifications or apprenticeship completion; appropriate trade certifications or licenses as required for the region.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites within the Chester Area and, when needed, further afield.
