• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel trucks, commercial vehicles, heavy equipment, and related machinery.
• Troubleshoot engine, transmission, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical system issues.
• Utilize computer-based diagnostic equipment and repair software to identify and resolve problems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance services, inspections, and scheduled repairs.
• Maintain accurate service records, repair documentation, and maintenance logs.
• Ensure all maintenance activities meet DOT regulations and company standards.
• Inspect equipment for safety concerns and recommend necessary repairs.
• Follow established workplace safety procedures and shop protocols.

• Previous experience as a
  Diesel Mechanic, Diesel Technician, Fleet Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Truck Mechanic, or Equipment Technician
  .
• Experience with diesel engine diagnostics and repair.
• Ability to operate computerized diagnostic and maintenance tracking systems.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, and mechanical components.
• Understanding of DOT regulations, inspection requirements, and maintenance compliance.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
