Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Control Room Operator in Morgantown, WV to join a local transit operations team. This full-time transportation position plays an important role in monitoring transit operations, coordinating with field personnel, responding to service disruptions, and helping maintain safe and reliable transportation services
.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates with previous experience in dispatching, transportation, logistics, fleet operations, security monitoring, emergency communications, or control room operations

• Monitor daily transit operations from a centralized control room
• Track system activity and identify operational issues
• Respond to service interruptions, delays, and equipment problems
• Communicate with transit operators, drivers, maintenance teams, and field personnel
• Coordinate responses to emergencies and unexpected operational situations
• Provide clear communication through radio and other communication systems
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and operational documentation
• Utilize computer systems and monitoring technology to support transit operations
• Follow established safety procedures and operating protocols
• Help ensure efficient, safe, and reliable transportation services

• Previous experience in dispatch, transportation, logistics, fleet operations, security monitoring, or a control room environment is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize changing situations
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  
  Ability to remain calm and professional during service interruptions or unexpected situations
• Comfortable working with computers, monitoring software, and communication technology
• Ability to work independently while following established procedures and safety protocols
