* Owens & Minor is seeking a dependable, safety-minded
** Warehouse Associate / Cherry Picker Operator
** to join our distribution team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and are committed to accuracy and safety, we'd love to hear from you.
In this role, you'll safely operate a cherry picker and other material handling equipment to retrieve products, fulfill customer orders, and prepare shipments. You'll work at heights of up to 32 feet while using required fall protection equipment.
** What You'll Do*
* + Safely operate a Cherry Picker/Stock Picker and other warehouse equipment
+ Retrieve and pick customer orders accurately using an RF scanner
+ Build, wrap, and stage pallets for shipment
+ Load and unload trailers efficiently and safely
+ Move inventory to designated warehouse locations
+ Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy
+ Print shipping labels and packing documentation
+ Maintain inventory using the OMNI Warehouse Management System
+ Charge forklift batteries and inspect equipment as needed
+ Label, sort, pack, repack, and organize inventory
+ Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse
+ Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned
** Qualifications*
* ** Required*
* + High school diploma or GED
+ Up to 3 months of warehouse experience (paid training provided)
+ Ability to safely operate or learn warehouse equipment
+ Basic math and reading skills
+ Strong attention to detail
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
** Preferred*
* + Experience operating:
+ Cherry Picker / Stock Picker
+ Forklift
+ Reach Truck
+ Electric Pallet Jack
+ Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems
** Physical Requirements*
* + Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
+ Frequently lift up to 20 lbs
+ Continuously move or lift up to 10 lbs
+ Stand and walk throughout the shift
+ Bend, reach, stoop, crouch, and climb as needed
+ Safely work at heights up to 32 feet
+ Wear required fall protection equipment
+ Good hand-eye coordination, vision, and hearing to safely operate warehouse equipment
