Project Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer

Green Bay Packaging seeks a Project Engineer to lead capital and process improvement projects in our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will develop scopes, budgets, and timelines; coordinate vendors and contractors; and drive safe, efficient installation of new equipment and packaging systems. You'll partner with operations, maintenance, and safety teams to improve reliability, reduce costs, and support sustainability initiatives. Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute capital and process improvement projects in a manufacturing environment
• Prepare project scopes, budgets, and schedules, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and operations teams to implement equipment and packaging solutions
• Manage vendor and contractor activities, including quotes, bids, and on-site coordination
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve reliability and efficiency
• Support installation, commissioning, and validation of new machinery and systems
• Maintain accurate project documentation, drawings, and technical specifications
• Monitor project performance, report progress, and adjust plans to meet targets
• Ensure compliance with corporate, environmental, and regulatory requirements
• Participate in continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives
