Material Handler

Pay: $17.50/hour and up DOE

Penmac Staffing is hiring a Material Handler for a growing manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for moving, organizing, and supplying materials throughout the production process to ensure operations run efficiently. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling experience preferred
• Forklift experience preferred; certification is a plus
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and move materials throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic computer and data entry skills preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Must be willing to follow all safety policies and procedures

• Move raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the facility
• Pull, stage, and deliver materials to production areas as needed
• Load and unload trucks and incoming shipments
• Verify quantities and inspect materials for damage
• Store materials in designated locations and maintain inventory organization
• Utilize forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other material handling equipment safely
• Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and material audits
• Accurately complete material transactions and documentation
• Ensure production lines remain stocked with necessary materials
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
• Follow all company safety and quality standards
