Material Handler - 1st shift

Penmac Staffing is hiring experienced Material Handler for a growing manufacturing facility in Morrilton. We are seeking motivated, detail-oriented individuals with warehouse, inventory, or materials management experience who enjoy supporting production operations and maintaining accurate inventory.

• 1st Shift: 4:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Full-Time
• Pay is $17.50/hour and up, DOE

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1-3 years of warehouse, materials, inventory, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
• Basic computer skills required
• ERP software experience, including Epicor or similar systems, preferred
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as needed
• Willingness to follow all safety procedures and company policies

• Pull, stage, and deliver materials to production areas according to schedules and priorities
• Move raw materials, components, and finished goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
• Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, and organized
• Support kitting operations and line-side replenishment
• Keep production lines supplied with necessary materials
• Respond quickly to material shortages and urgent production requests
• Communicate material issues and delays to supervisors
• Assist with work-in-process inventory and maintain organized work areas
• Perform cycle counts and support physical inventory activities
• Identify and help resolve inventory discrepancies
• Process material receipts, transfers, and issues accurately
• Assist with receiving incoming shipments and verifying quantities
• Inspect incoming materials for visible damage
• Complete ERP system transactions accurately and on time
• Support material tracking, tagging, and labeling processes
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Production lines remain supplied with needed materials
• Inventory is accurate and easy to locate
• Material movement occurs efficiently with minimal delays
• Work areas remain clean, organized, and safe
• Safety standards and inventory control procedures are consistently followed
